🛠️ The Website Build Process

Our website design process follows a clear, step-by-step structure to ensure your project is completed efficiently and to your full satisfaction:
 

1. Consultation & Deposit

   • We begin with a detailed consultation to discuss your vision, goals, and requirements.

   • Upon approval of the project plan and scope, a 50% deposit is required before work commences.

2. Asset Collection

   • Before design begins, all required website materials (copy, images, product data, branding, etc.) must be supplied by the client.

3. Initial Design Draft (First Build)

   • We build the initial concept and share a private preview link with you for review and feedback.

4. First Revision (Iteration 1)

   • Based on your feedback, we implement requested updates and send an updated preview for your review.

5. Final Revision & Launch (Iteration 2)

   • We apply your final round of feedback to complete the website build.

   • Upon your final sign-off, the remaining 50% balance is due. Once payment is received, your site will be officially launched/handed over.

📋 Terms & Conditions

1. Project Timeline

• 1.1. Standard website builds will be completed within 4 weeks from the date all assets are received.

• 1.2. All website content (photos, copy, videos) must be provided in full before build work can begin.

2. E-Commerce & Product Setup

• 2.1. All product data (titles, descriptions, variations, pricing, and images) must be supplied prior to starting the build.

• 2.2. The designer will upload a maximum of 30 products per page/collection as part of the initial setup.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

• 3.1. A full refund will only be issued if no work has commenced. Once the build has started, partial refunds will be calculated based on the proportion of completed work.

4. Video Content

• 4.1. All video files must be hosted on YouTube or Vimeo by the client prior to site integration.

• 4.2. If video hosting setup is required from the designer, an additional hosting management fee will apply.

5. Payment Terms

• 5.1. A 50% deposit is required prior to project kickoff.

• 5.2. The remaining 50% balance must be settled upon final approval, prior to site delivery or launch.

6. Training & Tutorials

• 6.1. Post-launch training sessions are available upon request.

• 6.2. Tutorials are billed at £20 per 30-minute session and are conducted via phone or online video call (e.g., Skype, Zoom, or Google Meet).

7. Website Maintenance & Support

• 7.1. Ongoing website updates and maintenance are available at a rate of £10 per hour.

To ensure the highest visual quality and legal compliance, please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your content:

Image & Artwork Specifications

• Formats: Please supply files in PNG, JPG, PDF, PSD, or AI format.

• Resolution: For best visual quality, supply high-resolution images (300 DPI preferred).

• Product Photography: Product images should ideally be shot against a solid, uncluttered background with clear, bright lighting.

• Copyright & Usage Rights: You must hold the copyright or license for all submitted imagery. If sourcing images online, ensure they are legally licensed or labeled for commercial reuse. (Tip: On Google Images, filter search results by Tools > Usage Rights > Creative Commons Licenses).
